Tom Montgomery is Managing Member of MCA and Founding Partner of MCG, with expertise in complex tax planning, M&A, and debt/equity financing for public and private companies. Formerly, Tom led Beal Capital Markets, an investment subsidiary of Beal Bank, building a $2B+ portfolio of high yield bonds and direct investments. Earlier, he co-founded Montgomery Baggett & Drews LLP, a Dallas CPA firm. Tom holds an MS in Accounting and Taxation from Texas Tech and is a licensed CPA.

Larry is a licensed CPA and executive manager with 28+ years of experience across finance, banking, and consulting. He joined Montgomery Capital in 2015 as a deal principal and manager. In 2002, he founded NTEC, which grew into the Southwest's largest medtech incubator, supporting 60 companies and helping raise $20M in venture funding. Earlier, Larry spent 10 years in commercial banking at Comerica and four years at KPMG's Technology Practice.

Doak graduated summa cum laude from the University of Oklahoma with a BBA in Finance.

She began her career in commercial litigation and product liability at Herzfeld & Rubin and Gruvman, Giordano & Glaws in Manhattan, before advising venture-backed companies in medical device, food and beverage, and CPG industries. Ashley holds a BA in Forensic Psychology from CUNY John Jay College and is a certified SPHR.

Sharla has been integral to MCA's daily operations since 2009, supporting Managing Member Tom Montgomery across business development, strategic growth initiatives, investment forum coordination, and portfolio company relations. She also leads firm-wide projects as needed. Sharla is deeply committed to her community, serving with Communities Foundation of Texas, MLK Childcare Group, City House, Children's Health, and Minnie's Food Pantry. She has received multiple recognitions including the 2016 Dallas Admins Community Champion Award.
